Mediclinic is the world’s sixth largest private medical group and nationally launched their new brand on 20th June 2011. ‘The revised Mediclinic brand depicts a lot more than a mere change of the corporation’s logo and visual identity. Instead it demonstrates the group’s commitment to align its past excellence to a brand that will continue to bring outstanding medical care to its patients – supported by deliberate scientific expertise – under a unified international umbrella.’
In less than one month before the launch date, Romano started production on the signage and successfully manufactured and installed the new brand of exterior signage at 10x Mediclinic sites nationwide. The location of the sites were in Windhoek; Bloemfontein, Pretoria, Morningside, Stellenbosch, Vergelegen, Head Office, Techno Park, Tijger Park & Panorama. Mediclinic did not want the new brand to be exposed before the launch date so we coordinated that all 10x sites be installed on the weekend starting 17th June 2011. This could have been daunting task for another company but we have the experience and resources to complete all the installations without any difficulty. The Bloemfontein site was most interesting as it had three high level signs that required special access with letter heights ranging from 800mm – 1100mm To ensure the successful launch of the new brand each exterior sign at the sites were covered and we coordinated that the covers were removed from the signage at 06:00am on Monday morning.

Due to the superior quality and performance provided to Mediclinic in completing Phase 1 of the rebrand we have been awarded the balance of 43 sites to be completed by February 2012. been success of Phase 1 we have been awarded the contract to rebrand the balance of 43 sites to complete the roll-out for Mediclinic which consists of 43 sites which needs to be completed by February 2012.
